2024 TOYOTA AFL GRAND FINAL EVE LUNCH  – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern all tickets purchased to the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final Eve Lunch (the Event) at Crown Melbourne, Level 1 Crown Towers, Crown Melbourne, 8 Whiteman St, Southbank VIC 3006 (the Venue). The promoter of the Event and the official ticketing agent is TGI Sport Marketing (Aust) Pty Ltd ABN 36 603 385 575 (TGI) of Level 3, 510 Church Street Cremorne VIC 3121. As a ticket holder, you and your guests agree to be bound by and adhere to the Terms for the duration of the Event. If you or any of your guests you fail to adhere to and abide by these Terms, entry to or attendance at the Event and/or the Venue may be refused.

  1. Price and Payments: all prices are inclusive of GST. Payment in full is required at the time of booking. Ticket sales are final and are non-transferable and non-refundable except as provided by these Terms. TGI accepts payment via Visa and Mastercard.
  2. Ticket Conditions: One ticket purchased admits one person into the Event. The number of tickets will be detailed on your booking form at time of purchase. In the event a ticket is lost, defaced or damaged, Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of TGI, be resold or offered for resale at any price or used for advertising, promotion, or other commercial purpose (including competitions and trade promotions). If a ticket is re-sold in breach of this condition, the ticket will be cancelled without a refund and the ticket purchaser will be refused entry to the Event.
  3. Conditions of Entry: You and your guests must abide by all conditions of entry imposed by the Venue, notified by the Venue (or TGI) from time to time, including but not limited to, any vaccination requirements or safety and hygiene measures required for entry to the Event and the Venue. No refunds will be provided to ticket holders should they fail to meet or adhere to these requirements. This Event is an over-18 event. Children are not permitted entry to the Event and ticket holders may be required to show valid photo ID for entry into the Venue. In accordance with Australian venue, police and liquor licensing requirements, acceptable forms of identification are:
    1. A current photo driver’s license;
    2. Current Passport; and
    3. An accepted Proof of Age card.
  4. Event Attendance: TGI does not accept any responsibility for the security or safety of the personal belongings of either you or your guests. Attendance is voluntary and at each individual’s own risk except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law and you, and your guests are to accept ultimate responsibility for your own safety and well-being at all times. To the extent permitted by law, TGI excludes all liability for any personal injury, or any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential you or your guests may suffer or incur, arising from or in connection to the Event.
  5. Program: TGI will use reasonable endeavours to ensure the Event program is run as advertised. If any elements, including notable speakers, presentations, scheduling or features of the Event cannot be included within the Event, notice of any alterations will be provided by a TGI representative via email as soon a practically possible Please be aware that the utmost care is taken in the preparation and serving of food to accommodate dietary requirements, however the Venue may handle nuts, seeds, flowers, seafood, shellfish, wheats, eggs, fungi, dairy and other ingredients and take no responsibility for unspecified allergies. Any requests from you and your requests will be met to the best of the Venue’s ability, but the decision to consume the food is the full responsibility of you and your guests. TGI and the Venue reserve the right to change menus and ingredients without notice due to seasonality, product availability, and dietary requirements etc.
  6. Security and Behaviour: Any underage patrons, excessive drinkers, illegal drug users or patrons behaving in an antisocial, intoxicated, disorderly, aggressive, offensive or dangerous manner or in any manner which may threaten other patrons or security may be ejected or dealt with by Event or Venue security and/or police. TGI and the Venue retain the right to refuse entry or access (including re-entry) to the Venue and may eject patrons and ticket holders at any time if they are found to have breached or are likely to breach these Terms. No refunds will be provided to ticket holders should they fail to meet or adhere to these requirements and such tickets will be cancelled. TGI and Venue security staff reserve the right to inspect any bags, clothing or other items at entry point or within the Venue at any time.
  7. Event Cancellation or Postponement: If you need to cancel your ticket(s), no refunds, exchanges or credits will be offered unless agreed by TGI in writing (in TGI’s absolute discretion). In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders TGI’s ability (or that of a third party involved with the Event) to proceed with the Event on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms, including but not limited to vandalism, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, epidemic, pandemic (including the COVID-19 Coronavirus or any similar mutation or strain), government (state and federal) orders or regulations imposed by relevant authorities; the Event will be suspended for the duration of that intervening act. In addition, TGI, may in its absolute discretion, cancel the Event (in which case, a refund for the amount paid for the ticket(s) will be processed within 30 days of the Event cancellation (less any applicable administration fees)), or reschedule the Event to another date and time and notify you as soon as reasonably practicable. All tickets purchased for the original Event will be transferred to the rescheduled Event date. You and your guests will be notified by a TGI representative of the rescheduled Event date and any alternative arrangements relating to the Event. Should you and/or your guests be unable to attend that rescheduled Event date, please contact TGI as soon as possible and refunds or ticket assignments may be provided on a case-by-case basis. TGI expressly excludes any liability for any direct or indirect losses or expenses incurred by an Event cancellation or postponement in accordance with this clause.
  8. Event and Venue Recordings: TGI may:
    1. make an audio or video recording of you and your guests;
    2. take a photograph of you and your guests; or
    3. make any digital record of you and your guest’s image or voice for the purpose of creating content to use in the promotion and marketing of the Event and the Venue (Recording).

You and your guests expressly and irrevocably waive any and all rights in such Recordings and grant to TGI the ability to, at its sole and absolute discretion, use, copy, publish, make available, distribute, transmit, perform, display, edit or modify (Use) (and sub-licence the right to such Use) the Recording anywhere in the world, for any purpose (including commercial purposes) in any and all media in relation to the marketing, promotion of the Event and other TGI products, services and business operations as TGI sees fit.

  1. Collection and Use of Personal Information: Any collection, use and disclosure of personal information (including names mailing addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and other identifiable information reasonably requested by TGI and provided by you and your guests in connection with this Event (Personal Information)), will be stored and managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the TGI Privacy Policy, found here. By purchasing ticket(s) to the Event, you consent (and warrant you have obtained the consent of guests providing the same) to the collection and storage of Personal Information by TGI. Personal Information will be used for the administration, promotion and marketing of the Event until such time the ticket holder or guest otherwise notifies TGI may disclose Personal Information to third parties including its contractors and agents, suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting the Event. By purchasing the ticket(s), you consent to receiving future promotional and marketing material from TGI.
  2. Jurisdiction: these Terms and any claims, actions or disputes by either party are governed by the Laws of Victoria.
